In 1979 Dave Arneson and Richard Snider (one of his original Blackmoor players and contributor to First Fantasy Campaign and later to be author of Powers & Perils) wrote Adventures in Fantasy which consisted of three books. Book of Adventure Book of Faerry and Magic Book of Creatures and Treasure There were four proposed supplements that never saw publication: Dragon Lore & Legend Ritual Magic The Races of the Faerry World of Fantasy The The Semi-Retired Gamer requested that I create this forum and I was happy to do so. I thought I would take the liberty of starting some threads and I look forward to seeing his posts on the subject and, of course, all of you.

Were any of these, and to what extent, actually published?
Details, please, I am in the dark over here!

The Semi-Retired Gamer, so the first three were published? Are they available in any form? (Legal or otherwise? (I am shameless when it comes to out of print material)).

Yes, the first three were published in a boxed set. I was lucky and bought my set before the renewed interest in AiF; got it off eBay for less than $20! I see some ridiculous prices at used retailers online these days. It should also be available at - secret message coming your way! ;-)

I don't know why, since I've never seen seen a copy of the game, but...this looks very attractive. Just because I know Dave worked on it and it's from the 70s? Would love to see this thing, if only for what I imagine is a unique flavor.

I'd love to get copy of this - I am a fan of Dave Arneson's work especially his Blackmoor stuff.
