Over at the Searchers of the Unknown: The Library site, there is a minimalist game called 1974 Style. The rules are only 5 pages long and there is an index card character sheet. Some others might find it cool or useful so I am just spreading the word.

The original Searchers of the Unknown minigame was based on the idea of using the old monster statblock found in D&D modules (AC 9, Mv..., etc.) to represent characters also. Pretty cool idea.
