Ok, first up , Followers, these are played on personality cards. They represent troops and individuals who do not get played any other way. There is a huge variety. Infantry, some mages and general utility. Light, medium and heavy infantry are the most common, but just about every form of followers are available.

Followers are by far the most important fate cards. You make yourself very vulnerable with out them, do not make a deck without Medium Infantry, archers will cut you in half. A lot of cards target personalities with out followers, especially arrows.

Number 2 is dualing. You need to include at least offence but with some clans you need to play defense. I used to cut my opponents in half. Shadowlands is especially vulnerable to dualing.(darn can't get my spellcheck to correct my Words!)
