Seeing the interview clips and the stills just makes me think of those times when there were more people (it seems) who were into enhancing their lives through imaginative play. Or who were open to it. You can just see a different attitude towards living in some of these photographs.

Why does it seem strange that Chainmail has only been around for 50 years, seems more like 80 years ago in some ways.

Why does it seem strange that Chainmail has only been around for 50 years, seems more like 80 years ago in some ways. If you think about popular culture, politics, education, employment options, and a host of other things, it might as well have been 200 years ago.

You are right, changes over the last 50 years are equal to the changes of the previous 200 years, I would agree.
