The Zealots are outside of the doorway only one is alive, He is making 2 attacks w a quarter staff. 103 is at the mantel struggling w the great sword you and dagger are on the dogs left. There is no room for Jacob to fight so he is waiting behind you.Jacob had given the dagger to 103. Laura(good wife's actual name) is at the top of the stairs and can't quite see what is happening from there.
You attack with your fists(yes this will not kill but only subdue him(great call) Your roll is 18 so you hit easily doing 2 points, Zealot looks he is still fighting.
(this is the very first time I have ever dmed a PbP combat)

You fell down and took 1 HP from the fall(rolled a 1 for you), you are tangled in your own cloak Next round I will make a dx roll for you to escape cloak. The Zealot goes, he is making 1 attack on the dog and 1 attack on the fighter, 10 and 8 both miss,(well on paper he is very tough, lol). Jacob yells at 103," Drop the sword, it's too big for you, use the dagger I gave you idiot!" (I gotta look at your PCs I think the way I do initiative is that Due to inelegance Heng goes first and Dagger goes second. So new round, in that order |

Yea, you attack the Zealot(I am supposing you are still using your fists) I rolled an 11 so you hit(Zealots are AC8) you max out your fist hit and do 4 points, You hit zealot square in the jaw, but he is still up, when you notice that a huge crowd of towns folk have been super quietly watching the fight..... dagger0001 your up. |

OOC, after this fight we are going to take a long pause in the game, Once the fight is over I will post a recap of the goings on in the house and take off for like 24 hours, I don't want to burn any of us out. I keep posting cause you guys keep posting, we REALLY need to slow down(I blame me)

Disappointed from my clumsiness I untangle myself embarrassed because I did it in front of the growing crowd. If I Get myself free I will continue to try to hinder the zealot so Sir Hengest can subdue him.

You roll a 2 to escape cloak(you wanted low) and spring back on your feet Jacob and 103 bicker like little old ladies Laura starts walking down the stairs slowly. Zealot makes 2 attacks, One on dog and one on Heng.heng takes a solid hit of 6 points(I think that's the first damage you took? hengest, you go, finish this guy off! |

I will use all my thief skill's to investigate the house. I will use my keen hearing, sharp sight and nimble fingers for the investigation. especially the bedroom wear i focus my main interest.
