gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=3613These horrible undead may have the most unusual genesis of any creature that walks. A dream god had a child that eventually became the deity of nightmares. When he was a child he had a terrible nightmare and the creature came to life. The child adopted the portfolio of night mare and is a plague to this day, but we are not talking about the god, we are talking about the Dark Drifter. It's name because from the fact tha the creature will only have one victum in 500 square miles, and then moves on by teleportating up to 50 miles. They are incredibly hard to kill because you must get to them before they have a first(and only) prey. There victum will always be a young boy having a nightmare, thus itt could take quite a wile for it to find a boy suitable, even though it can sense the nightmares of children. The best way of catching them is to induce children to have horrible nightmares, but this is loathsome. the way I would use them is to give a low level party a 4-6 game minicampain to get some fame 3-10 Hit Dice AC 4/16 claw/claw/bite>D6+1/2 level/d6+1/2 level/D8 plus level

Morose I am very heavily influenced by Lovecraft and Rod Serling. The movie "Duck to Dawn" Is a perfect reflection of the games I run. My creatures are almost all horror that you can solve w/ a sword

George Clooney did it a little before "Batman" and see what he could have brought to it.
