I have the Manual, it's in poor condition but still readable. I've reached the point I'm slow to back old school kick-starters, but I must admit this one has my attention.

I would like to see both of these, but I am in no position to back a Kickstarter. I hope all of these things are eventually in an affordable pdf on Drive Thru once hard copy sales are done.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but should there be a page or graphics linked to the post this link leads to? It refers to update graphics in a rather immediate way, seeming to reference something rather specific. Just curious.

daniel , I am going to post a few links here and ask you some questions about them. First up: From the Tome of Treasures The Manual of AuraniaI was curious as to the accuracy of the information in the top two paragraphs and do you still have your own copy of both printings? Also were there only two printings? Also would you tell us a little about your co-authors credited on the front of the document? Second: From the The Acaeum Forums Manual of Aurania - contentsThere is a statement halfway down the page that says: I have never seen one for sale and I was of the understanding that copies were quite rare? Contents are listed as What does he mean "Weird Trips and Rip-offs", the second part that is?

It indicates that Daniel Wagner created the thief and not Switzer who usually gets credit. Switzer was in the same group as Wagner and Gygax grabbed it through (I've heard) seeing Switzer share it some where, although I do not remember where it is said that Gygax saw it. I am not sure about the story or background, daniel will have to answer that. But IIRC I think I read that Aurania in the game meant The Gold Land or The Golden Land. daniel? |
