Thanks! The idea had its genesis at my table. I didn't have an idea of what form an a-grav harness would have, so I envisioned an under-garment webbing suit, controlled with a wireless joystick held in one's off-hand.
A player obtained one, and over the next few sessions put-together what amounts to a high-tech superhero outfit: filter mask, night vision goggles, body armor, etc.; all these combined with his flying ability made in a superhero by any reasonable definition of the term. Unfortunately, the campaign was short-lived.

I had a 14 year old find ancient tech that turned him into Superman. The pc's were mercs that were hired to take him out as he was rampaging through the colony

That sounds like it would be a blast. What was your world like?

That sounds like it would be a blast. What was your world like? It was similar to good ol' planet Earth around the beginning of the 20th century: the world was on the brink of a mechanical and technological revolution but still backwards in a lot of ways. Slow communication, no internal household plumbing, poor communication networks. This allowed the "hero" to operate with relative impunity, given the edge his advanced technology gave him. Word of him got out the authorities, who appealed to the Imperial Authorities for assistance in tracking him down. They become the "super-villains" opposed to him.

Sounds like fun, maybe you will get another crack at it sometime.
