I saw that and I also agree it is a great article and the seven things he lists really do describe OD&D the way a lot of our members play the game.  I like this thing he said

Yeah, I think that name nails it, but what a mouthful!

I pretty much agree that adventure game is better term for style of play, but I think OSR is still useful to differentiate between what rules conventions are being used.

There is so much that is going on at the table that I sometimes neglect the adventure aspect of the game, which is weird because my old AD&D games were all about adventure.
