Charlie, Takheal and Tokheletoi need to talk to Raven about joining the crew and to Thazar (if they want) about buying his shares in the ship. Now would be a good time for any of the existing crew to ask about buying any of Thazar's shares as well. I'm sure personal loans from a bank or loans from Cho's Megacorp (your patron) could be arranged if you desire. Just to let you know, Blackjack will buy any of Thazar's remaining shares before he departs, but I'd like to give y'all a chance to buy in first if you want to.
The ATV drives through the air curtain into the parking bay where The Clear Sails is berthed. The air in here is clean...filtered by the air curtain...so you can all drop your air filters and move about freely. Thazar pulls the ATV into the cargo bay and turns to the others.
"Look I'm leaving the ship before it lifts off this rock. I have shares that I want to unload. If any of you can raise money to buy any of them I'll make you good deals. I have 20 shares and I want 50,000 for each share. I might take somewhat less, but I won't just give them away."
"If I can't sell them to you guys, I'll just have sell them to somebody else, but I'd rather not."

Tokheletoi taps her foot and scans her hand comp for information on markets and goods as she waits for Takheal. When he arrives she toggles her ears toward him in a sign of interest. "So what is the arrangement you have made. I have a few leads as well to get us off this planet and back on track."

"So what is the arrangement you have made. I have a few leads as well to get us off this planet and back on track." Takheal stops in front of her and, placing his left hand palm down in the center of his chest, bows slightly in a sign of respect. It wasn't strictly necessary outside the Hierate, but her clan did outrank his. "I made no arrangement, but we must hurry. The ship "Clear Sails" is nearby, and it is ready to depart. One of the former crew is eager to sell shares in the ship. May I show you where?"

Peng pauses to listen to Thazar, but makes no indication of interest, seeing as Cr50,000 (or anything anywhere close to it) is FAR outside his budgetary constraints. As soon as he can decently do so, Peng heads for his snug turret, divests himself of weaponry and curls up in his hammock for a nap, swaddled in his rather worn [Spiderman] velour throw.
NOTE: Peng is perfectly well aware that Raven expects the ship to lift off soon. But given the prospect of crew/shareholder changes, he expects that "soon" may turn out to be longer span of time than normal. Like many combat vets, Peng learned to take every reasonable opportunity to bank up on sleep, since one never really knows when the next chance for a nap will roll around.
[OOC: Peng potentially has enough cash on hand (see character stats below) to haggle his way into possession of one (1) ship share. But he's really not interested in doing that, as it would leave him flat broke until next payday *and* (more importantly) haggling is too much like real work.]

Tokheletoi returns the bow with exactly the same degree of difference. While they were far from the Heirate or any of the Ihatei worlds where such things as clan ranking matters it was still important to show that they were civilized. "Then let us go immediately warrior," she used a term of honor for the male as retaining good relations between the two would be important for their ultimate success.
"Clear Skies you say? I have found information on that ship as well." She started to walk with him toward the location of the ship. "It seems they are headed deeper into the Mantan sector and may be looking for crew or working investors."

"I think this is a good opportunity for us, Administrator," Takheal answers. "I think it's name is Clear Sails, though. I may have misspoken earlier." Takheal leads her to the Clear Sails' berthing bay. His ears flatten reflexively as he passes through the air curtain, and he loosens his mask and takes an experimental breath. "The air here is breathable, I believe." He spots Charlie with the others, and walks with Tokheletoi to meet them. "Hello," he calls. "I understand that there is an opportunity to buy shares in this ship. Is that correct?"

Gil will check to see whether or not the supplies, etc., have been delivered and then head to his cabin for a shower and a quick lie down. Although he’s aware that Raven wants to clear out as soon as possible, he wants to be as rested as possible because this first stop has been a bit more eventful than he anticipated. “darn shame about the misinformation. I wonder who’s smuggling drugs? Peng? Nah, we have some similar entrepreneurial instincts, I think, but I don’t get the impression that he’s the type to smuggle drugs. Raven seems to trust him... Heh, at least a little more than she trusts me...”, Gil thinks to himself and chuckles.

Tokheletoi walks briskly with Takheal toward the docking bay. She was alert and her ears were perked and swiveling as she evaluated their surroundings. She removed her breathing mask as well as they entered and took a deep breath of air. She flicked her ears as well at the human as Takheal greeted him. Tokheletoi remained patient and tolerant as the human waved awkwardly to both of them. On the whole she followed Takheal's lead as he knew more of these humans than she.
As the human bowed slightly Tokheletoi bowed equally. This much she could understand as the peaceful greeting was known in Aslan society as well. "Greetings human Charlie Lin," Tokheletoi mangled some of the vowels but in general did a good job at the Galangic. "As my business partner Takheal stated I am Administrator Tokheletoi. We have heard that there are opportunities to buy into the ship available." Tokheletoi was of average height for an Alsan at just over two meters. She was covered with an orange-brown full with a ruff or mane although not nearly as impressive as that on Takheal.

Tokheletoi considered the public offer. She knew that between them she and Takheal had just barely that much in the human currency. Still, an open offer of that nature meant that there would normally be some room for negotiation. "My partner and I are interested in ship shares. I would like to see the terms of the shares and a review of the ship conditions and her books to determine if an investment is prudent."

OOC: Yes, there will be some room for negotiation once Tokheletoi starts talking to Thazar privately. The majority owner of the ship is currently in a medically induced coma recovering from wounds. He (Blackjack Miller) will be awake tomorrow (game time)...say 12 hours...but for now you'll need to talk to Captain Raven Firestorm about the ship. Just so all of you know, the ship's finances and condition is just fine. Financially, you have a good deal from the patron sending you out to Mantan, so you're good there. The ship has just undergone annual maintenance so is just fine mechanically. If Mighty Darci doesn't speak up in the next few days, I'll NPC her character to get this settled.

OOC: Tokheletoi wants to see the books and the condition of the ship both to understand what she is buying into as well as to point out small problems as part of her negotiating tactics. She'll also make a few comments about how a pair of Aslan would add to their effectiveness and profitability.

OOC: . . . to point out small problems as part of her negotiating tactics . . . OOC: Just a note: Peng Silva likely has more than one warning concerning over-eager gunnery as well as unsatisfactory completion of boring routine work in his personnel jacket.

[OOC]: Emiya is waiting patiently as she doesn't have an interest in buying a share of the ship & is waiting to speak to Captain Raven once she has time to discuss about finalizing her joining the crew and getting a room. Then she can acquaint herself better with the crew. While she waits she sits down & starts sharpening her sword.

We're waiting at the moment for Mighty Darci. It's Christmas season and she might not be available at all, so no body get anxious, please. It's Christmas for me, too, so I'm somewhat distracted myself. IAC, Blackjack...the owner...is waking up from his coma and will be talking to all of the new people shortly. Matt, to be clear, Thazar is just unloading his shares because he's tired of being shot at so he doesn't much care about the "state of the ship nor its finances" he just wants to sell for what he can get. He thinks 50k per share is fair, but he'll go a bit lower. Blackjack, otoh, might just buy all of the remaining 19% once he's back up and about and he has the money to give Thazar the money he's asking for...that's why the crew got jumped on the way back from Leroy's, Blackjack had just won a couple million credits from Leroy.
