The party is minding their own business and traveling through a thick forest as miles away The Fly Trap sends in mind controlled animals to bring him tasty humaoids.. The scene is peaceful as Beavers, wood chucks and deer start following them.More and more animals begin to cluster around them. suddenly there is a huge rush of animals, somewhat like a tidal wave overwhelms them. They are taken to a rather large(hippo sized), multi tentacled plant monster. The monster is unable to control the animals and use it's tentacles at the same time, cue boss fight. Use stats of squid.

Who is fighting whom? Is there some reason to think the plant monster should be able to control the animals? If the plant monster cannot use its "arms" (tentacles) how does it fight?

I thought I was being cute and posted this as "story". As I said in weapon post, I was rushing. Will fix this in the morning. I hate when I do this, its the main reason for poor spelling on my part(rushing that is) mega sorry s.

No need to apologize, if you are rushing just note it (unfinished). I should do that myself, I suppose.

I would change this to, the plant monster can only control a few animals and feed at the same time, so the rest run away. The real question is this, does the party leave, since they were just carried along with the crowd of animals but not controlled or do they choose to fight the creature.
