For Gonzo science fantasy Post-Apocalyptic goodness I have a potential RIFTS OD&D conversion but what about something less gonzo? I just got finished watching season 3 of Into the Badlands (what an awesome series) and I checked out all four Mad Max films, plus one other P-A film. To say I am a fan of P-A films is a solid bet, but I love it in general from the gonzo science fantasy of RIFTS, to the road warriors of Mad Max to Zombie Apocalypses. I could do a Zombie Apocalypse inspired by the Dead World comic I loved growing up but there are a ton of Z-A RPGs out there from 'All Flesh Must Be Eaten' (AFMBE), Dead Reign, Infected and others - plus not very thrilling long term campaign-wise. The same goes for the Road Warrior clones (Wrecked, Junk'd! & Atomic Highway).
Another P-A film I loved growing up was Cyborg - now you could build a OD&D campaign around the concepts of the world, but it needs more meat to really fly. You got the Wu Xia fused P-A goodness of Into the Badlands that has minor-supernatural elements - that could add flavor to it, but would you need special rules to emulate the Wu Xia combat and mystical powers? Yes, I am not sure those elements are worth incorporating but there are a lot of things that could fuse well with the setting conceits of Cyborg and aspects of Mad Max and the Book of Eli to create a very interesting P-A based setting. Then fuse to it Fallout pretty much in whole or at least a pastiche of it with the serial numbers removed and maybe mine the Wastelands comic as well.
This is just a brainstorming session to add to the discussion. I really need to finish reading Wastelands, rewatch the Book of eli and buy a copy of Cyborg and rewatch it too, oh I nearly forgot Salute the Juggers film too.

I really loved the Book of Eli, and I would love to see a sequel of it that picks up right where it left off.

I haven't seen Into the Badlands so I will have to find time to binge on it.
