How To Invent Everything: The Time Traveler's GuideThis is an interesting Kickstarter, they were already printing the book when the Kickstarter started (say that fast three times) and it is way past its goal, maybe I will see it in the library one of these days, it is going to major book stores. Go read the full blurb and the table of contents.

Wow, that gives lots of ideas for a game. I like time travel and going back to a prehistoric world and trying to build something that will at least leave traces that will last millions of years would be a blast. Whether you started from a modern world or from a faux medieval world either could be a blast. Deciding what you want to take in terms of equipment and/or magic, people and with what training and abilities would be a lot of fun to plan out.

Over 4000 backers, that is a good start on things.

For an initial goal of $20,000 they did well and finished at 6,700 backers pledged $231,062 to help bring this project to life. Best of all the book was fully written before the Kickstarter began.
