1) Templates Here you find several pre-defined parameter sets for various kinds of settlements. Especially for beginners, it is recommended to start with these templates and check the impact of the variation of the different parameters.
2) Parameters Change the parameters to give the city the character you want to attain. Each ?-button gives a short explanation how each parameter works.
3) Preview The preview allows you to watch the generation of the city map 'live'. If the growing city does not look like what you would like to have, just cancel the calculation, keep or change the parameters, and try again.
4) City Map Generation After the parameters are set (manually, or by using a pre-defined or own template), start the calculation here (and cancel it if the preview does not look like the city you would like to have).
5) Menu Items City Map Settings can be saved and opened, thus allowing as many different templates as you like. Each set of parameters (= city map settings) represents a certain and individual kind of settlement (village, small town, big city ...) which is the base for generating the random city map. Print Settings allow to adjust the design/layout of the printred city map (colours, elements, printing area, zoom, matrix print ...). City Map: After the city map is finished, it can be saved, opened, and printed.
