This community as of today has 80 members and there are many linked items in this community including 

The first Powers & Perils retro-clone!

I want to wake this sub up if it needs waking...here are my questions:

-does anyone know if the retro-clone project went anywhere? I can't find anything about it.

-has anyone here actually played? Or even created a character?

P&P doesn't really look like my kind of system, but I am intrigued, so I'm looking to hear more "digested" experiences if there are any people want to share...

He had started  a group on Google+ but I don't remember anything about it.

I did an exhaustive search and I can not find anything about the retro clone.

I did find this and I don't know if this is it or not.

Perils & Phantasmagorias is out! (My first fantasy role-playing game!!!) I cannot find any links to this or any mention anywhere.

Sad...P&P was a game I wanted to like and have stubbornly held on to for many years. I attempted character creation and got lost somewhere among the charts and/or hit a failure in the character creation system. I recall an active web group from years ago but haven't visited in many years so it may have disappeared.

I heard that character creation is not bad if you can have someone walk you through it the first time. Can't remember where I heard it, but there are so few people that used it, it is virtually impossible to find that person to walk you through it. I have a copy for sale, because I finally decided I would never play it.

I would buy that copy if I could afford it.

I requested to join the FB group but have gotten no reply so far. It's something I want to learn about and like. If I just had a day to read it, I bet I could do a little better.

Update: As of August 2nd, still no reply from the group.

The core book and most of the other stuff is available as a free download and the site has been there a long time. So you can study it at your leisure.
