OK, I was hoping for way more than two people besides myself. I have not done a read together before so I have no idea how it is supposed to work. I wasn't looking for in depth literary criticism, more like read each story or article in order and post our thoughts about it.
I have started reading The Smoking Land and am about 30 pages into it. Once I know everyone has had a chance to read that far, I will start posting a few thoughts.
I hope more people will join in.

I am interested...but slow these days. The last three (two short stories and an article) are shorter if you just want to go with those. As always, do what you have time for. Our lives off line are first priority. |

Next weekend, when I'll have fiction-reading time. This weekend is General Conference weekend, which will need at least ten hours Saturday and six hours Sunday, plus discussions/quiz games with the grandmonkeys after each session.
Yes, my dad did say that I explain how to build a clock when all anyone wanted was to know what time it was.
