Thank you! The colonoscopy seems to have went well, I only had 4 small polyps and they will do biopsies as a standard pre-caution, but the Dr is not expecting any problem. It will be a little while until I know. But he said it all looked healthy.

It will be a little while until I know. But he said it all looked healthy. OK, the PSA was good and check again in 3 months. The polyps (all 4) were precancerous, which means my risk for colon cancer is high and I need to do another colonoscopy in three years not ten.

Same result on my first "root rooter" visit get to go again in a few short years. Better than the alternative all things considered ;-)

Definitely better, that the alternative. But next time I think it would be easier just to fast for a week, than to drink a gallon of that nasty stuff again.

They definitely have it down to a science though, simply amazing in that respect. Same with anesthesia. Going under for that and some more recent procedures I am simply amazed about how easily I simply lost some hours of my existence to immediate and total oblivion...and they didn't even ask me to count backwards from 100 lol. Apparently the Sleep Spell does exist!

Yeah, but the material and somatic components make casting a pain...

Mom has been dealing with some health issues, has a few tests to take & then see if she can get voice & physical therapy to help her reclaim some of her lost abilities. She had to go to the ER on Sunday to deal with severe constipation & I escorted her to get one of her tests yesterday. Outside rereading the Dragonlance Chronicles, I have done little work on anything except a bit of touch up on my map. I do got some ideas for the revised "World of Skârn" setting, of which the Dragonlance novels helped reinvigorate my desire to work on the revisions.

My mom has to get a biopsy & see if the growths on her thyroid are cancer. If so the doctor believes that it'll only need surgery to remove it.But we have to wait to see what the growths are first.

Hopefully it is not cancer, but if it is I hope that the doctors have it early and easily dealth with. Prayers for you and your mother.

Thank you Admin Pete. The doctor seems to think IF it is cancer it can be removed via surgery.

My wife's mother had open heart surgery yesterday. Among other things, they removed a benign tumor the size of a walnut. All went well.

My wife has been by to see her once already, and she, I, and our two kids are going tomorrow. Today was my son's Eagle Scout project, so we were pre-scheduled busy.

My youngest uncle's wife, my Aunt Carol passed away on Friday morning, she was about 70 and had been on dialysis for about 8 years. When my wife got sick they gave us advice at the time. I talked with him and he knew that I new exactly how he felt. Please pray him and the family. This is the same family that had lost their son in his mid 40's unexpectedly.

I hope things are getting better for you, mormanyoyoman. Your situation makes me feel lucky that my Mom (86 and slowing down but still kicking) and brother (52 but an invalid) are still with us.

Had to cancel a week of it, but I double down starting tomorrow. I'll have all of one day this week to get caught up on everything.

Prayers and positive thoughts for all here in need. I was fortunate to have a spectacular weekend considering last year's Memorial Day was heralded by a 7mm kidney stone attempting to pass. Ahhhh what a difference a year makes ;-)
