Yes, Might makes right, but May is Spider-Man's aunt. That may be so or it might not, depending on which side of the 45 one adheres to.

A sticky situation, to be sure.

Gotta love Political Correctness! No I really do not, not today or tomorrow or ever. In my experience, when someone says "I'm not politically correct," they often mean that they still want to use words like "kike," "wop," "spic," and "nigger." I for one am devoutly glad that such things are not acceptable any more. If that makes me scorned for being "politically correct," so be it. "And the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself." And that includes treating them with what they consider to be basic respect.

I guess my eye is not modern, I just don't see any problem with standard English, although I have see many changes to the language over the years, most of it serves no real purpose. On the other hand I have a few thousand words I would like to add to the language for use in Scrabble. "Za" is now (Well, for about a decade.) an officially recognized Scrabble word, though my son-in-law doesn't believe it. Carry your current OSPD with you! "Zarf" is also a word. It's a silver holder for a coffee cup.

But the same people who profess political correctness in all of its forms are usually the most intolerant of others' POV. YMMV.

In my experience, when someone says "I'm not politically correct," they often mean that they still want to use words like " really offensive words deleted". I for one am devoutly glad that such things are not acceptable any more. If that makes me scorned for being "politically correct," so be it. "And the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself." And that includes treating them with what they consider to be basic respect. I don't personally know anyone among my friends and relatives that uses any of those words. Not the educated part of the family and friends and not among my less educated friends and family that some would describe as "hillbilly rednecks." Don't call us that to our face of course. In point of fact the only people I know that regularly engage in "hate speech" all belong to the POLITICALLY CORRECT side of the aisle. Those are the anti-free speech and intolerant of any ideas that do not agree with them group. I observed a young couple next door that are working class as are we, very conservative and very not politically correct and they had a young mixed couple and young child over for a play date with their young child. I was not surprised, I commented to my wife that we don't know anyone under 35 that is a bigot and that is very cool. I do not know any of the politically correct SJW types that believe "And the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself." In fact, those are the people who expressly do not believe in this. The politically correct are the world's worse fascists, thought police and bigots in my experience. My one brother lives out in a very rural rather backwoods area and he is about as rural conservative country boy as it gets. A gay couple lives over the hill from him. I have met them at his house, they are completely out and my brother doesn't bat an eye, he doesn't care. If you were to meet my brother, just looking at him rubbing snuff and talking about the government you would never guess that. Even the people in my life that the stereotypes say that person would be a bigot, well the stereotype is not true, they aren't.

And that includes treating them with what they consider to be basic respect. The first has not been my experience in my travels around the world and in 26 of 50 states (& 2 other nations), but I may not have been to your neck of the woods. The last ("And the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself." And that includes treating them with what they consider to be basic respect.) has been my average experience with people, even with (mumble, mumble, too many) years in the USAF. Oddly enough, I found racism among Asian nationals (including my aunt) more intense than any in America - until the past decade. But as Aunt Chiziko (That's how we spelled it!) told me, the grudges between Japan, Korea, China, etc go waaaaaay back "before even dirt was invented."

I think it's a phenomenal ad. I hope he gets more gamers than he can handle. I'm fortunate to have a great long time face to face group and feel awful for those That find it difficult to get players.

My FLGS proprietor focused grouped the flyer and a aurprising number of people objected to "Men" Wanted. He asked me to change it to something sex-neutral so he can post it in the store and put it on the store website.
I'm surprised! But I should not have been. Many of you told me so! I have no problem changing it. It's a marketing statement, not a political one.

You could even add this thread to the flyer, to get more conversation going.

You could even add this thread to the flyer, to get more conversation going. And if you do that you can even advertise that you get a free YoYo for showing up for the meet!

And here's the yo-yo/bandalore you can give away for free. $150 new when they were being produced by Playmaxx in the 1990s; just a bit more in the collectors' market nowadays.
