In today's mail I got an old tattered beat up copy of En Garde!. Game Designer's Workshop, 1975 “Being the in Main a Game of the Life and Times of a Gentleman Adventurer and his Several Companions”The author's names are not actually in the book, so from elsewhere I found this info. Designed by Darryl Hany and Frank Chadwick, Developed by John Harshman and Loren Wiseman
6 x 9 inch booklet, 47 pages (29 pages of rules, 18 pages of tables)
4 page errata sheet (two and a half pages of them a single table of regimental organizations)
This Game is Dedicated to Alexander Dumas, Danny Kaye, and Sir Harry Flashman
From the Introduction
BTW this game is definitely not politically correct.

I was 18 and I had gotten it in 1978, so I was caught up in the adolesant fun of being a musketeer. I played a lot solo and a litle bit w my high school friends. I can't remeber anything else other than I love En and played a lot before I discovered D&D.
