Here is a little table that I add to my Random Encounters lists to make them a bit easier for me to swallow on gameday. The nice thing is that it is very open to interpretation so it works in all wilderness settings. Wilderness Simulation

Of course. The numbers are just there if you want them. I personally like adding a touch of randomness to the game; probably just for my own entertainment, but also to be less predictable for the players. I do just pick things off of it too, and it gets rewritten and customized constantly. It is just a little something that I thought that I would share.

Nice little resource to help jog your creativity and you can continually add options to it as you think of them. Don't think of it as a finalized resource, think of it as a work in progress, ever changing and growing.
