What things Cost in Ancient RomeThis link was posted at the OSR Google+ community by Winchell Chung and I found it interesting. It is designed for Social Studies teachers; listing common wages, and compares them to prices of the times. The item lists are a lot more extensive than in my AD&D books! I must say that I like it, it gives a lot of insight in a short amount of space. It is pretty strict, but I think that it would be interesting to try it out, just to see what happens. There are also side notes, such as merchants who altered the Emperors prices were executed, but so were the people who payed them. This is a great way to protect your currency value! I can see some adventure possibilities here, as well as other interesting implications and problems that can (and would) come up during the game. I wonder how these prices would compare to Medieval life?

Wow, that is hard core! I love it, sounds like a good way to have economic growth without inflation.
