Help please from anyone who has an acount at OSR Gaming

Hi all, I need help from someone that has an account at OSR Gaming. I wanted to post a reply to a question about Arduin, but I cannot since I cannot read the CAPTCHA and type in the matching letters in order to post. It uses a lot of colors and it is unreadable for this colorblind person and it prevents me from posting anything on that forum, even prevents me from sending a message to through the PM system to an ADMIN or Moderator. The sound option does not help since I cannot get it work at all. In addition, I have tried the sound option on other sites and apparently my hearing is not that good.

I have used the Arduin Trilogy in my OD&D since it was published back in 1977 and I love Arduin. A few things to remember about the first book The Arduin Grimoire, it was originally written as an OD&D supplement. See this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduin it is mostly accurate. Also remember that it is a grab bag and you should read it with an open mind and then lift the parts you like and try them out. It is an off the wall collection of everything Dave Hargrave could think of uncensored. It is like a dungeon, you will find valuable gems and rubbish in the same area.

Nevermind, I found you and made it so you shouldn't be forced to use the captcha anymore. I really do appreciate the feedback about its issues with being colorblind as that effects many people! I've simplified it as well in case it does still require it. Also apologies about completely missing you posting your name already. i just assumed it would be the same! Glad I always check this forum while on my walk! sorry it took 17 hours though!

Well, I only recently changed my name to slim it down. I figured it was easier just being Dizzy. Vince/Lord Nikon from the old school podcasts, roll for initiative, save or die, etc... started the forums. He is still an admin, but he put the forums up for sale about 18 months ago, so as one of the moderators at the time decided I'd purchase them to keep it within the community. I appreciate your post! Arduin is definitely interesting and next time I run OD&D I will have to steal some bits. Have you read Volume 2 & 3 as well? or even 4-6? 2&3 seem to have some great stuff so far as well, but I do not have 4-6

I have Arduin Volumes I to VIII, and have never been able to get my hands on Volume IX. I will try to post a bit about them in the next day or two. BTW in the wikipedia post I linked to, I provided the following info a few years back as a correction.

The Arduin Grimoire (Arduin Grimoire Vol. I), 1977. There are four different editions(printings) of this volume. These editions(printings) differ via internal verbiage, cover and back cover artwork and some internal artwork (p. 79, among others). The first edition (printing) of volume one features cover art by Erol Otus and references to Dungeons & Dragons. The second edition (printing) of volume one features cover art by Erol Otus and the references to Dungeons & Dragons have been whited out and typed over. The third edition(printing) has the cover picture of multiple characters fighting and on the back cover the female character is topless and is the David Hargrave character known as Shardra the Castrator that appears topless in the drawing on page 1 of Vol III The Runes of Doom, the page following the Table of Contents. The fourth edition (printing) and later printings, which comprise the vast majority of copies of Vol 1, are identical to the third edition (printing) except that the topless women on the back cover has a halter top (editorial swimwear) added to cover her up.
