I recall seeing the ads in old issues of Dragon Magazine. I was interested but I never bought it because I never saw it in a store. Does anyone have any experience with this game? Any impressions they would like to share?

Yes I owned and played the game a little back when the game came out -- long story. I think I still have a copy pf it somewhere. Basically from what I can remember there were "classes" Lightraider is the name of one I think that had different abilities. One of the main points of them game is you didn't have magic or spells you had scripture that you the player had to be able to quote. Each passage of scripture caused on effect depending on what the verse was. So a light spell you had to be able to recite "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." This would cast something equivalent to a light spell.
Monsters in the game were personifications of sins. Again I haven't looked at this game in years but I'm pretty sure I still have a beat up copy of it somewhere.
