I need designs for 300-ton, 400-ton and 800-ton jump-3 corsair ships. Their needs would be speed - speed to get places, speed in overwhelming their prey, and speed in getting the cargo on board and away. They would also need reasonable cargo space, but might need pirate boarders (marines) as well. Assume that their typical enemies would be 400-ton patrol boats or occasionally 800-ton merc cruisers
Anybody who wants to design some ships, please do so and post. It is okay to have multiple ideas - the fleets would not be homogeneous. If no takers, I will design some next week

I would like to, but I can't right now, but I want to design some ships the next time you need some. I am still wrapping my head around the scout ship.

Are you talking straight up Book 2, or are there alternate rules you have in mind?
Because right off the bat, there are few advantages in a 300 ton ship. By the book, everything from 201 tons up would be treated as 400 tons, so you might as well get that extra volume.

I should have some time to fiddle with this IF just Book 2...Book 5? I will have to look to see if I have some spreadsheets still to make it easier.
