The massive baluchitherium, 'native' to the Inner Aerth, are known to roam the valleys of the Kashmir, among the many fields of wild opium poppies. It's interesting to note that about 1% of the native/reborn fauna of the Inner Aerth are to be found on the surface of Aerth. It's like these species have been reborn a second time, and, sages have no explanation for this phenomenon, as of yet. The present theory is that the native species of Inner Aerth are those that have become extinct on the surface of Aerth. Hence, there is postulation that these species have suffered a second extinction in the Inner Aerth, and, have become reborn on the surface Aerth, yet, there is no hard evidence, as of yet, to support this postulation.
