Do any of you have any books(s)(series) that you would love to have a campaign developed around that for a setting?
What book or books do you think is ripe to have a setting developed around, but as far as you know, no one has?

Might I suggest that you adapt The Eternity Brigade to fantasy? It's about a group of Vietnam vets that were frozen and thawed out to fight over the centuries. Eventually, cryogenics got replaced with computer duplication. That sounds like a cool read.

I would like a game based on The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. Fortunately, I hear that a game based on this series is scheduled to be released this year. I will check it out to see how well it enables play in that setting.

I am fond of the worlds created by David & Leigh Eddings. There is the main world of The Belgariad & The Malloreon Series and his second world of The Elenium & The Tamuli Series.

I have read The Belgariad twice and I always intended to continue but I just never did. I need to rectify that. Do you have the books? It has been so many years, I no longer have them. I wish I still did. I found the entire run of every series with the exception of the Polgara and Belgarath novels for 50 cents each at a flea market outside of Fort Hood, Texas. I did read The Belgariad series at least twice over the years. For some reason I never continued on. I was and am still highly interested in doing so. Unfortunately, over the years of moving and getting divorced all of those books got lost in the shuffle. I don't mean anything nefarious or anything. They may have gotten mixed up in a different box, they may be sitting in a forgotten box in an attic somewhere, or who knows? Fortunately, the local used book stores seem to have most of these books on a pretty regular basis so I will make a trip soon or just order them from thriftbooks.

I'd really like to see Poul Anderson's "The Broken Sword" developed in to a setting. Leigh Brackett's Skaith Trilogy as well.

Ursula LeGuinn's Earthsea would be an awesome setting, just the map alone.
Sprague de Camps Novaria from the Reluctant King setting is interesting too.
For a fantasy with some weird science and dimensional travel, Andre Norton's Witch World
Straight human only military setting; Glen Cook's world of the "Black Company"
I think some of these might have had a D&D 3.5 and/or GURPS treatment once
