I know I'm preaching to the choir here as I know some of you are older than me (57 this fall.) My "youngest" turns 25 today. Where has a quarter of a century gone?

I know I'm preaching to the choir here as I know some of you are older than me (57 this fall.) My "youngest" turns 25 today. Where has a quarter of a century gone? I will be 68 in April, so I have more days that I feel old than I did when I was 57. Few more aches and pains, more health issues, but on the good days, I still feel 18, until I try to do something I could do when I was 18. Life goes fast, I blinked and 50 years was gone, just like that. Along about September, I will be able to say, that I can remember things that happened 65 years ago. I would love to be able to say that I can remember things that happened 100 years ago. Not likely at all, but not outside the genetic realm of possibility.

51...I'm a pup! I'd have said "punk" I shouldn't feel too bad. I sat at a desk for near 30 years then started working a far more physical job selling kitchen, bath and flooring products. Like having a gym membership as I'm walking, climbing and lifting all day long. Helps manage the diabetes and even had a customer say "You're going to regret that when you're 50" while I was lifting a cabinet into his truck. I said "Too lat buddy, I'm 56!" Then I thanked him for the flattering comment Of course I'm no dummy, I do wear a lower back support and steel toe boots, some of those boxes of flooring are heavy! Just glad I can still lift them.

I'll take it! I've always had a little bit of an "out of bounds" outlook on some things. I hear you!! It sure is satisfying to still be able to do some of that stuff. It's also satisfying to know when to when as well.

47 only here, my oldest is 12.
I guess I'm "old at heart" what my hobbies concern. Even though my 12 and 10 yo aren't really into D&D yet but judging their video game favorites I'm sure they'll favor oD&D over new editions; my 12 yo loves dig-dug and Q-bert and prefers the Super-Nintendo over the Nintendo Switch and my 10 yo favorite is Asteroids and will use all of her quarters at the local barcade at "family day" (when minors are allowed on the premises) to get her name in all of the high score places.

Good thread. 43 here. Life goes fast but the days go slow. I am slightly more than 2 months out from 68, these days it all goes fast. Hours are like minutes these days.

This feeling just got reinforced with my recent illness. I used to bounce back so quickly in my youth but that had me wore completely out the last week. Ugh.
