Mmmm - my inner Jim Gaffigan just surfaced. "Hot Pocket hot topic." Sounds a lot like the chicken pot pie Hot Pocket.. "Now they're just messing with us." I'm hungry, but I don't want real food...

Actually, it's quite a "HOT" topic... It's more to do with what I stated to in response to you at the blog: "Yes. I hope to get some Kalibruhn stuff in there too. But since we finished the DVD, then the Sunken City adventure for the DVD release, and the book on Arneson is finished, I am left with updating the website with Nathalie and no other project! It's one of those things, like, you know exactly what you are doing and then you finish three projects at once and then, Huh? What do I do now? Lol! We have more little books to get out, so there you have it, as this is the sequel to the Journey to the City of Brass." DVD? Check Adventure (Sunken City)? Check Book on Arneson? Check In all, including all of the other writing I've done for the DVD, the website, etc. that's a mere 50,000-60,000 words in the last six months; and that's with moving to France, settling in dealing with the endless (&*%*) from the Government, attending one wedding (besides our own!), a funeral, going to Lucca, Italy for the CON, to the US Embassy in Marseille, etc. I did not have a table to really work on for the first two months nor a printer until 3 months ago. Nor a good light until 4 months ago. There's been a lot of things that were being mailed to me from the States as well. So I'm actually on a roll, considering. BTW: All of the adventures will be statted for OD&D; but that means that I can do pretty much what I want with them as D&D is an elastic system. But that's the "BASE"we're using.

Having completed those projects is a cause for celebration!! So I hope you both take a moment to enjoy reaching this point.
Now regarding Kalibruhn, we have talked in the past about the supplement and what it might look like. Have you made any decisions about the format when you do that project or is that decision yet to be made? (Don't answer that here if you want to keep all of that under you hat for the time being. The original notes that were auctioned for the original Kalibruhn supplement that did not happen bitd. Are all of those on the DVD or only selected ones?
It sounds like you will really be at loose ends for a moment or two once the website is updated, or do you already have in mind the next several projects that you will work on.
On another topic that we have discussed before, I am reminded of the Lensmen Series by E. E. "Doc" Smith where the Arisians are loathe to give guidance in a lot of areas to the "Children of the Lens" so as to not put them into too small of a mold. Also that from the time the lens is introduced the Lensman have to discover for themselves what abilities are theirs with the Lens. It is the you have to do it out in the real world to learn it and obtain it.

Also that from the time the lens is introduced the Lensman have to discover for themselves what abilities are theirs with the Lens. It is the you have to do it out in the real world to learn it and obtain it. We're taking a short break tomorrow for an outing, with a dinner and ice cream social planned. But with the launch of a company comes new requirements and dogged work. The opposite would be so if it were just a matter of producing something for others to print. But that's not the case--this is our baby, our future. So I'll be 61 this month and who knows how much longer I can sustain this level of output, huh? I have a wife to think about, you know, and she's younger than me. Yes, the Kalibruhn Supplement image files are included on the DVD. My intention for them as Little Books is not 100% decided at this point. Probably multiple volumes on the world starting with a revised supplement for changes to the rules (like the spell variant system that was played but never written up, etc) and the Undead, as I have another system for those as well. That's two volumes and others would follow. Not sure about your last paragraph. What I am attempting here is a more holistic approach to my writing and design, thus the THREE LINE STUDIO. This will include formal adventures, scientific and systems pieces on RPGs, new models for RPGs, etc., as I've talked about before and have been going on about for years at convention workshops and online. It will also include leveraging my intellectual properties for other venues. It's a comprehensive approach that we are determined to make work both in USA markets and in Europe where I have thousands of fans. This includes the HUGE INTERVIEW book by six stalwarts of RPGs, Design and RPG History (yourself included, and this after the newest adventure for 'Brass is finished); and this includes other interviews and convention appearances in France and Italy (Lyon and Lucca invites already in hand, and an interview with an Old School D&D French magazine that I have a bevy of questions from recently) and many other avenues, like CRPG (need to finish a 100 page proposal and systems breakdown which I will be beta-testing with a programmer) and possible Gygax estate dealings (recently working) and the support of the Blackmoor Documentary that I wrote a special preface for and was interviewed by in Wichita before coming to France (I received their trailer to it 3 days ago and it's looking great! I am in the trailer, btw!), etc. So you see, a protracted vacation is not the answer with this much pending...
