Sorry for disappearing for a while. I was helping Basic Fantasy crew edit some of the books to put them into Creative Commons. And then I got sidetracked with writing a campaign book for Olde House Rules' new game Mydwandr. So, I haven't given up this project, and it will be my big thing for 2024! Welcome back, sounds like you have been quite busy!

No worries at all.

Hi Muddywater! I got sidetracked with another project. I am leading a 'zine project to make a second Wizard's Scroll 'zine for White Box: FMAG. I didn't intend on doing this, but it's something another OSR community needed or at least wanted. I'm getting some great support on this with community artists all from the FMAG fan site on Facebook such as Gabe H. Fua, Sam Helms, and Marie Cain. It should be about 50 to 60 pages with classic pen and ink art when done with new playable races such as Mycanoids, the Wicker (living scarecrows), and Frogelyns, along with house rules, a few adventures, and even adventurous poetry. I'm hoping to have this ready for December, and in keeping with the spirit of other FMAG material, this book will be a free PDF on DriveThru, and eventually at cost with no profit POD on DriveThru. So, when I get a little further with this I'll get back to my novella / sword & planet game I was working on. But thanks for asking. How have you been?

Unfortunately, only members who join the White Box:FMAG Facebook group will be able to see my links. And now it seems, I cannot post a Facebook link here...

Someone who is on FB click the links now and see if it takes you to the group. Proboards insert embeded link function does not work for all links for unknown reasons, in this case I think FB has made changes to itself that are no longer compatible. Note: there is only one link it was posted twice.

Here is a sample article from the upcoming Wizard's Scroll II 'zine people might enjoy: Mycanoid race with art by Sam Helms
NOTE: I'm having issues with sharing a file from GoogleDocs even though I clicked available for anyone with the link. Is it working?

NOTE: I'm having issues with sharing a file from GoogleDocs even though I clicked available for anyone with the link. Is it working? That is not working and when I quoted you, I can see the actual link is not there. So you will need to edit it. Creating a link with a title is sometimes wonky. If you just add the bare link to the post Admin Pete will fix it for you.

I don't think you made a typo, sometimes they just don't save when you create the post. I try to remember to check them when I post, but now and then I forget and someone tells me the link doesn't work, it happens to all of us.

Thanks! I'm still getting content from writers and artists in the group, but my target is to carefully get it edited and laid out by December. It will depend on how perfectionist I get about adding new art. The content itself is almost all done, but getting the right amount of pen and ink art is an important part of the overall feel of the White Box:FMAG game. Of course the 'zine will work with any OSR that is similar to White Box or 0e - especially the games that go up to only level 10. I'll let you guys know more as I get more done. And maybe another teaser later on as well...
