Medieval Inns and Taverns
Inns served food and drink Inns in towns and cities Coach Inns on Trade Routes
Taverns are drinking houses usually owned by the brewers or vintners (in thorpes, hamlets, small villages this is a home)
The medieval tavern in large villages, towns and cities had multiple rooms, but usually smaller than inns.
Inns focused on sleeping rooms and foods, while taverns focused on drinking. Sometimes they overlap in one establishment.
small beer or small ale was 2% or less alcohol. This is in common usuage outside the Inns and Taverns and made by almost everyone.
Mixed water is water boiled and mixed to form teas and other hot beverages.

Merchant and craftsmen guilds
The primary purpose of craftsmen guilds was to maintain a monopoly. Secondary purposes were to protect the rights of craftsman and "theoretically" to maintain quality.

D&D and other games have big glitches in their pricing systems.
Does the monetary system take into account supply and demand, wholesale prices, bartering, transportation, taxation, hazards, political status, kingdom treaties, quality of goods, how magic would affect prices, and the production process of items?
Are the prices of manufactured products always higher than the price of raw materials? Are the final prices reasonable or vastly inflated? Is there a reason for the price to be very high?
