Zamindawar, clerics, other nobs, chiefs, officials, etc.

Open Warfare/Skirmishing: Continually hostile on all fronts. TALK
growing stronger ov a major Palu-Ea war against Farz.
Intrigues: There are certainly all manner ov dangerous machinations
&& nefarious plots afoot in the kingdom, but the exact nature ov
these intrigues is NOT known.
Artifacts/Relics: The only items ov major potency known to be
possessed by Kabul are Dokar's Unseen Blade and the Flagon &&
Bowl of Akgul. <This should be the Cup && Talisman of Al'Akbar>
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Thumbnail Sketches: This kingdom is mostly mountainous, w/
many valley areas && few plains, + the great plain ov Registan in
the S which borders the frontier hills && mountains ov Farz &&
Sindraj. The territory ruled is over 100K sq. mi. in xtent.
About 25% is rocky or generally barren, 25% suitable
only for pasturage, 10% under cultivation, && 40%
forest or scrub. The fauna found in the wilds incl. leopards, bears,
cheetahs, wolves, dogs, hyenas, swine, camels, deer, asses, sheep,
goats, ibex, && various other sorts ov mammals, birds, reptiles, &&
insects.
The original inhabitants were probably ov a Western Yellow race
who intermixed w/ the Hindoo peoples to the S, then w/
Babylonians. Waves ov invading Aryan tribes took && held the
land, && the Afganis ov Kabul are basically ov those racial stocks
w/ some slight admixture ov Turkic over the past few centuries.
All are ruthless, tough, independent, rapacious, && prone to
homicide. They seem open && trustworthy, but the opposite is
typically true. Slaves are not considered citizens, but some are
kept in the cities. All other volk are free, && although the vast
majority ov the pop. is economically ov low class, there is no
distinction otherwise. The wealthy do have more && gain some
privileges, but otherwise 1 Afgani is as good as another, save at
the uppermost tier where the nobility, priesthood, && royal family
hold sway.
The cities, towns, && villages provide infantry, the hill
tribes && nomadic volk the bulk ov the cavalry. All are fierce &&
determined fighters, albeit unruly, undisciplined, factious, &&
prone to sudden swings in morale.
Agriculture && warfare are the only occupations acceptable to the
majority ov the people, but some will TRADE, work at crafts, etc.
Crops ov wheat, millet, barley, rice, maize, && sorghum<> are cultivated.
Lentils, beets, turnips, carrots, cucumbers, melons (incl.
watermelons), && rhubarb are grown. Vines are cultivated to a small
xtent. Ca$h crops incl. tobacco, cotton, maddar, castor beans,
&& saffron. Orchards && groves provide apples, pears, plums,
cherries, walnuts, pistachios, lemons, oranges, etc.
Livestock is raised generally. Camels && horses are used for
burden && riding. Some fine warhorses ov the general genet<> sort are
kept. Other livestock incl. cattle, sheep, goats <goat-freaking a national hobby>,
&& a small amount of poulty.
Small quantities ov gold, silver, && copper are taken. Mining
produces better yields of iron, zinc, lead, antimony, gypsum, &&
coal. Building stone quarries are, naturally, easily opened in the
mountain regions ov Kabul. Ruby is found here in modest quantity,
&& there are mines of lapis lazuli && garnet as well.
In addition to livestock && grain, the realm xports gum resin,
preserved fruits, small carpets && rugs <made with child slave labor>, &&
various native handicrafts.
