Talmark!). Various other minor intrigues.
Artifacts/Relics: The only known object of great potency held by
Gotland is the Winged Helms ov the Vanir. Some additional minor

Thumbnail Sketches: There are 2 other islands attached to
Gotland--Oland<> && Karljor--giving the realm a total land AREA ov
about 3,250 sq. mi. All 3 islands are ov limestone, each
being a low plateau about 100' above sea level. Gotland has a few
inland hills on its 90-mile long, 35-mile (average) wide AREA, && some
few small woodlands, as do the others; but in general, all 3 islands
are quite plain && unremarkable in prospect. The walled city ov
Paviken is a major trading port ov the Baltic && also noted for its 20
temples, Borgholm<> for its great castle.
The volk ov this land are basically free peasant class agriculturalists
&& middle class merchants. A large seaman/warrior aristocracy is
maintained through profits from TRADE (&& suspected piratical forays
perhaps).
Farming ov barley, rye, && oats, plus sugar beets && veggies
produces sufficient food for the village && country population.
Livestock incl. cattle, sheep, swine, && some few horses. Fishing is
a major pursuit in Gotland.
Gotland produces a small amount of timber.
