Here's what I hope to be the 1st in a monthly Updates for my Wikked Hob Games development. If Admin Pete can pin it, I'd be grateful.
January Update:
In December I spent most of the month training, so I didn't have the energy or time to work on the development of Ruin Delvers or any of the potential projects that I've discussed here, on my blogs and on Twitter. That said, I did get some work done. I am nearly finished with the initial draft of Book I of Ruin Delvers.
Next up is: 1. Book II: Of Exploring & Treasure Hoards - Which covers the exploration guidelines, "Dungeon" design, the Mythic Underworld and Treasure. 2. Book III: The Grand Bestiary - Which covers creature/NPC stats and info on Lairs, equipment and other related notes; plus, advice on roleplaying the included creatures.
Scrapped ideas: 1. Bolters & Chainswords Adventure Game - I was having too many issues trying differentiate it from its inspiration. 2. Rust+Chrome Cyberpunk game - I decided to use the Cyberpunk RED rules and Cyberpunk 2020 PDFs I have to run my future Cyberpunk Games.
Long Term Project: My adventure game inspired by Biblical, Hellenic & Mesopotamian myths and Languages. This is a passion project, so I am unlikely to begin working on it until I move, and my work schedule is stablised.
Beyond all that I do want to develop a game to replace Bolters & Chainswords, I am just not sure what it'll look like. It won't be a Space Opera as I'll be running WEG 1e Star Wars, so that scratches that itch. One other potential project is an illustrated TTRPG zine as a way to develop my own cartoony art style.

Hexenritter Verlag , what was the inspiration? 1e Rogue Trader Warhammer 40K. It was far more Gonzo than what current WH 40k has become. Plus, Bolters & Chainswords are iconic with WH40K so I frankly want to keep from getting a Cease & Desist letter once I publish it.

February Update:
I didn't get much done in January was dealing with a lot of depression related issues.
I hope to get work done on Ruin Delvers this coming month. I have decided to divorce Ruin Delvers from The World of Blakmarche as in references and move setting specific archetypes & kindreds to be folded into the World of Blakmarche setting books. That way if people want more non-traditional "D&D"-like options they can either buy the World of Blakmarche books or download free supplementary PDFs.
I am hoping to get started on developing my own cartoony art style and develop the replacement game for Bolters & Chainswords. I'll be taking inspiration from Bakshi's Wizards (1977), The Herculoids (1967-69, Thundarr the Barbarian (1980-81), He-Man & the Masters of the Universe (1983-85, 2002-04 & 2021), Blackstar (1981), Thundercats (1985-89 & 2011-12) and the Palladium Books' RIFTS 1e game. Though I am drawing "inspiration" from those properties it is mainly in the Gonzo Science-Fantasy that they embody, as well as the inherent humour found within them.
Instead of my Rust & Chrome Cyberpunk TTRPG I am considering a companion game to the above with a Sci-Fi focus, inspired by anime like Star Blazers (1979-84), Star Blazers 2199 (2012-13) & 2202 (2017-19), Space Pirate Captain Harlock (1978-79), Harlock Saga (1999), Harlock: Space Pirate (film 2013), Queen Emeraldas (1998-99), Arcadia of My Youth (1982), Cosmo Warrior Zero (2001), Queen Millennia (1981-82), Sci-Fi West Saga Starzinger (1978-79), The Galaxy Railways (2003-04,2006-07), Planetary Robot Danguard Ace (1977-78) and Ozuma (2012).Let's just say that I am a fan of Leiji Matsumoto and his Leiji-Verse. Other inspirations are from Super Dimension Fortress Macross (1982-83), Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross (1984) & Genesis Climber MOSPEADA (1983-84) (known in the US as Robotech), plus, Super Dimension Century Orguss (1983-84) as I grew up on both Star Blazers & Robotech.
Like the Science-Fantasy Adventure Game mentioned above, this one simply is inspired by the above anime series character designers Hiroyuki Kitazume & Haruhiko Mikimoto ("Robotech") and Leiji Matsumoto's art. Transforming Robot Mechas and interstellar trains will NOT be present, that said the stylistic vibe will be there. Whereas 1e WEG Star Wars will be my go-to for SCience Fantasy type Space-Opera games this other Sci-Fi Adventure Game will be the basis for my Science Fiction Adventure Games. Both of these untitled Adventure Games are still being brainstormed at the moment, so any updates will be issued in next month's update.
Lastly, these is a POTENTIAL Zine project Powered by the Hex & Blade System inspired by Side-Scroller & Platformer video games like: Castlevania (1986), Metroid (1986), Earthworm Jim (1994), and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee (1997) is being brainstormed. Again, this is simply a POTENTIAL project AND simply is inspired by the preceding inspirations. Fin.
