For anyone interested I have created some ref sheets for my current OD&D campaign. They can be found HERE. As you can see, the current structure of my game is somewhat an in-between of 3lbbs and 3lbbs + Greyhawk. I like some of the additions presented in Greyhawk, but I have culled back the strength charts significantly. Most attributes grant a +1 bonus at most. I use Gus L's death rules — if you are dropped to 0 or lower, d20 is rolled. If the result is 10 or higher the character lives. If they fail, they die. The next time they are dropped unconscious however, the target number increases to 11 or higher. This pattern continues until they cannot make the roll. This ensures the game is still lethal, but there is always a chance of survival. I like it too, because this number can be reset when a level is obtained, or if you prefer a more lethal alternative, it never resets! I use ascending AC with a base of 11, which I find more intuitive to run, and no to-hit charts are required. If characters are inured and rest thereafter for the night they roll their hit die (so a 5th level fighter would roll 5d8) and that is the number of hit points restored. Upon achieving a new level characters can roll all their hit dice again, and if the new total is higher, they keep it. Otherwise they retain their old hit points. I have also created quite a few custom classes: berserker, werecat, warlock, thief variant that uses a d6 system for skills, cacozealot, etc.

Nice. I like the notion of a couple-page ref sheet doc rather than a total rules rewrite. This means that folks can still use your ideas while running with the rest of the rules standard or not, as desired.

Agreed, very nice - I like the inclusion of the random tables, it gives this a Ready-Ref Sheets feel. Is that table of races for PCs or NPCs?

rastusburne, those are some really great tables! Very clean, easy to follow, good summaries of the rules. I agree with merias that they have a nice Ready Ref feel. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback gents, the goal was to include stuff I'd use every session, so I think it achieves its purpose for that reason at least. Merias that is a table for both PC and NPC races. Those are the dominant races in my setting. I use that in conjunction with my NPC tables (I have a d100 table for NPC dispositions, professions, and appearances, as well as magic and nuclear mutations).
