The Perilous Dreamer Do you know how popular this was back in the day?I had like 3 of the books during the good old days. I was not a fan No one was ever neutral on Arduin, people either loved it or hated it. The Arduin Trilogy is the greatest grab bag of ideas ever published IMO. Given the stuff you post, I am amazed that you were not an Arduin fan.

I think I would like them now.

I would love to get into Arduin, but where to start?? Acquiring a copy of Grimoire 1 is fairly expensive. I've seen some bootleg PDFs before but they are quite difficult to read, haha.

The reason the bootlegs are hard to read is because the originals are hard to read, especially the older you get. However, they are back on sale at DriveThruRPG. www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/4661/Emperors-Choice not everything is there but some of it is. This is the original three volumes re-organized into one volume with new typesetting so it is very readable and of course on the computer screen you can increase the font size if you need to. I think they are fairly complete, but likely some stuff is not in there, I have never had time to check. Arduin Grimoire Trilogy priced at $23.99 currently. Good place to start and a lot less than a single original book these days.

The only thing you will miss from the originals is some of the art changes from printing to printing, and edits concerning D&D.
