While a milestone in the field of Thurian Age Religious Studies, it has its limitations. It really doesn't address the litany of beings to be found in The Curse of the Golden Skull, nor does it use vital information contained in Marchers of Valhalla, the "Isle of the Eons" fragment or the "Zukala" cycle of poems from REH. Much of this may be explained by the fact that the essay looks at the topic within the rubric of "in the days of Kull".
Lastly, Rusty ignores the fact that Clark Ashton Smith and HP Lovecraft also wrote about the gods and demons of the Thurian Age. Mr. Burke has since come around to this right way of thinking ; his essay was written almost 20yrs ago.
Eccentric REH scholar, Joe Marek, also has a somewhat decent piece here, which mentions some of the other Thurian Age deities like Xultha, Poseidon and Zukala (though it does have some factual issues):
