At a little after 2 pm Corsica time my wife's Father, my father-in-law, Georges Hachet, passed away. The Hachet and Hachet-Kuntz families are devastated by his loss. I will not be posting here for the foreseeable future as we deal with the aftermath of his passing. -- RJK

robkuntz, I was very saddened to come back and find out about your and Nathalie's loss. We will be praying for you and Nathalie and family. I offer my condolences in this time of loss and wish that you all may be comforted with your memories of Georges Hachet.

Thanks to everyone here in this thread who posted their condolences. The family is slowly recovering as to be expected. Georges Hachet was buried on the 14th. Nathalie wrote and recited a sterling eulogy (6 pages) on here father. He was quite the man and the soul of the Hachet Family.

How wonderful to have had a great father-in-law, even if only for a short time. May you and your wife find comfort in the great father/father-in-law that he was and may you always honor his memory.
