This forum is now two years old as of the end of the day January 11th, 2017. I thank all of you who have joined me in this little experiment. It is my hope that this forum has been and will continue to be useful to you and a fun place to hang out. We have added Traveller to the forum and have two play by post games going and the promise of a Gamma World play by post campaign to come. If any of you have other games that you would like to run, please let me and your fellow members know about it. Again thank you for being here! Halenar Frosthelm Admin

I thank you for doing the work and providing this forum for us to use and hang out at. I don't post much, but I do read everything that is posted and find the majority of it to be though provoking. So you don't need to thank anyone, IMO we should be thanking you. In a parched desert, this forum is an oasis.

Thanks for running this forum. It has a great vibe where people can disagree without descending into bitterness. People are very helpful to those with questions. It is a great place to read about other people's views on the old games and how to run them now.

I also thank you for running this forum. I hope that we get more women here this year, since this is the only place I have found where women are welcome! My dad always had women and children in his D&D game. I was really surprised to find out it almost exclusively male on the D&D forums and most places women are not welcome to join. I want to thank not just our Admin, but all of you for making me welcome!

Well most forums don't admit women are not welcome, so it is not an "official" stance. It is more of how women get treated on the forums that show they are not welcome . I looked at all of the D&D/AD&D forums and this is the only one that I felt comfortable joining. I did consider OD&D Discussion, but for the length of time they have been around and for the number of members they have, I could not find any discernible female footprint on that forum. So I decided to go with an obviously friendly welcoming forum that is still pretty new, it seemed like a good fit.

It is bizarre, but I have seen it on a number of forums, a woman posts as a woman and all the creepy guys just start posting and harassing her until she leaves or at least until she quits posting. The Admins on most boards never seem to do anything about it. IMO there are a lot of women on the forums, but they are all pretending to be guys in self defense. Odd too, because every game I have ever been around has had several women in them and the games were games that kids could have played in. Thank you to this Admin for having a superior forum, great atmosphere and great people. I don't hang out anywhere else, anymore.

Great Forum!! We even have a court jester and a curmudgeon to keep things amusing. Of course we salute The Archivist and hope that he posts more material from The Drive.

Let me add my thanks to the chorus! I also would like to see more women on here and I wonder how many women are on here already, who have not made themselves known. I have always felt that women add a lot to my campaign and bring fresh viewpoints from different angles to discussion, making it more productive and informative, not to mention more interesting.

We are The Sons, we guard The Keeper as long as he stays true to his purpose, The Archivist is The Keeper of The Files from The Drive, as his task is to share those files. Other than that we cannot say, for only the Chosen may know The Secrets The Keeper Keeps!

Thank you for this site, it is an oasis in a bleak unfriendly landscape.
Lo, it is written! The Keeper Keeps The Secrets of The Files of The Drive and dispenses knowledge and wonders to those who are Chosen as worthy. The Keeper Keeps The Promise!
