Ok, I had a set of stats I rolled while trying to roll up a Dwarf that I held for another use, and we have:
Adele Boudreau, Lady Marie Leroux's personal servant.
Adele got her training through Lady Marie's family business (essentially the Merchants). She was well regarded in that service, attaining the rank of 2nd Officer after 3 terms. While in that role, she was initially tapped to man one of the turrets, however, her personal skills eventually led her to serving as Lady Marie's personal servant, with the promotions a recognition of that service. She is also trained in using the false transponders the Penzance ships utilize.
Stats: A35999 Age 30, Merchant 2nd Officer 3 terms, 41,800 CR (sold 2 low passages)

Makofan, I'd like to slightly adjust my character with two alterations: (1) Apply the second "gun" benefit as a skill, giving him Shotgun-2, and (2) change the Vehicle skill from Ground-car-1 to Air/raft-1. I'm assuming Air/raft falls under Vehicle skill, even though it's listed as its own thing in the Scout skill lists. Finally, Buzz receives a small pension.
If that's cool, and after purchasing equipment, Buzz looks like this:

This is probably overdue, but I got to thinking about Lui's background and how it relates to our crew.
Being 26 years old - four years of which being an active member of the Scout Service - his relationship with the Duke is probably one of a guardian nature. If Psionics are viewed with distaste as in the Third Imperium, the Duke may have rescued a young Lui Wu and have him introduced to a Mángdiǎn Temple, which could nurture his growing telepathic abilities. The Duke's reasons for doing so are a mystery to Lui, but he would be grateful to the Duke for having been sheltered at the Temple - just for the sake of quieting stray thoughts around him in his mind. The years of disciplines at the Mángdiǎn Temple have benefited him greatly, teaching him control of his powers and respect for others' privacy.
Lui tends to over analyse situations, as his teachings have explored the nature of actions having consequences and these consequences creating very real alternate realities. All actions have meaningful impacts on life as we know it and beyond our traditional understandings.
During travels through Jumpspace, he is commonly found on the bridge of whatever ship he is serving on, meditating through an open view screen, observing the pinpoint of the void ... The Mángdiǎn believe that all powers of the mind are awakened and strengthened by the void in the Jumpspace Dimension. Others, however, contend that staring into the blank is the surest path to space madness.
