Hi guys! I feel bad for not being able to visit here more often, but that doesn't mean I have forgotten about this place Anyway, at various websites across the Internet, some of us are having this idea of celebrating Blackmoor Week, a week of gaming leading up to Dave Arneson's Birthday, on October 1st. Called Dave Arneson Game Day, this day has been celebrated by friends of Dave Arneson since 2009. I have posted a few things about Blackmoor Week 2016 on my blog: Introducing Blackmoor Week 2016Blackmoor Week 2016 Day OneIs anyone here doing anything for Blackmoor Week 2016? Let me know and I will include your gaming activities in my next updates. It can be forum/blog articles, actual games, or anything gaming related really. -Havard

We are coincidentally gaming on Arneson Day, a 5E game in our referee's version of Ravensloft ("Rabendach"). Our PCs have just decided to establish a permanent base, but due to a spectacularly fumbled survival roll the best thing that could be found was an abandoned pigsty. I'll be christening it "Blackmoor Bog" on Saturday ...

Very nice article! I agree with you about not imitating the great masters, but using their stories as inspiration instead. I included a link to your article in my Blackmoor Week Day 3 post! (There is more there too, including links to free Blackmoor downloads) -Havard
