Which one of these D&D Settings do you think is the best? This is my short list, if you want to list other settings, start your own poll!   |

I don't know a whole lot about any of the settings except for Greyhawk & Mystara. The reason I picked Greyhawk is from using the early AD&D modules in our game sessions. If I recall correctly, there were names, hints, and tidbits of information scattered throughout those modules. They were more appealing than generic fantasy adventures.

My vote would go for Blackmoor as the best setting of the bunch. My second pick would be Lankhmar and I was fascinated with the idea of the Birthright world, although not quite so much with the implementation.

My vote would go for Blackmoor as the best setting of the bunch. My second pick would be Lankhmar and I was fascinated with the idea of the Birthright world, although not quite so much with the implementation. My gut wanted to vote for Blackmoor but I have practically zero experience with the setting. I'm truly intrigued by the things I've heard. I recently picked up the Lankhmar books from thriftbooks. I plan on reading them next. I'm interested in hearing about gaming experience in that world. Wasn't the pantheon detailed in Deities & DemiGods? I have zero experience with Birthright but the few youtube videos I've watched on the campaign setting have really caught my attention. Was there something in particular in the implementation that left you dissatisfied? |

I don't know most of these at all, but picked Blackmoor. Seems when DA made Blackmoor, he sunk a creativity well that we're still drinking from.
