The third non-TSR product I ever used in a game was the third volume of The Arduin Trilogy which is The Runes of Doom. It was quirky and full of wild ideas, tiny print only young eyes could read without help and generally just had so many different things in it ranging from completely silly to brilliant that I found it inspiring . It picked up where Vol II left off and continued to set the standard of there are no limits, this can be as wild as you want it to be. I hope to talk about some of the things I used out of Vol III going forward from here.

A few Arduin things from Vol III, that I have used before and am planning on integrating into my Murkhill reboot. I will be using variant, tweaks of the all the following, which will eventually show up in the House Rules Forum: The Character Legacy Chart ranging from free-holders to royalty, but going beyond the chart. The Forrester (Woods Ranger), True Paladins (think Solomon Kane as has been suggested and discussed elsewhere), Deodanths (time slip and all), Phraints, and Saurigs. Also the Arduin Hit Points system ( thinking of trying the Darke Variant). Some of the Arduin Magic(Magik) items, and Spells. And of course more Arduin monsters.
