We will start w the most reicent one of mine
Traveller universe , my reverse engenered Savage worlds game(there is a thread somewhere around here about this systen)
i had made a Traviller world and ran it a lot,(prob going to post this, eventually)named Trask it was a balkinized world with some places WW1 tech and one
country that had about 1980 tech, obviously the super power of the planet, very very poor, a few of the groups fit this thread
Ok, I stole the concept of the fictional city in Wolverine comics, It is a sort of Singapor but w a high city and a low city(A very common trope for me)
The Pcs ended up here as an adventyring party and eventually rolled into them being a street gang trying to take over from the # 1 gang.It ended up
being run as a street gang war. Not sure how many games I ran prob around 10 or so.

Jose Rodregeze gonzalas mark, from one of the hispanic countries he was a big game hunter and had a dinosar gun(hey this place has "lost world too! w 'dinos and natives to the planet) the player was hysterical and MVP
there was a James bond ish intelegance officer( a couple of my players were totally into James Bond) from trask(UK decent)

I ran Dr Who games running GURPS Only ran a few games, didn't really catch on w my players or me. maybe3-5games almost forgotten Dr. Who and GURPS seems like a natural fit. I was totally in to GURPS and owned the original boxed set, the 3rd edition, and several of the supplements like GURPS Autoduel, GURPS Fantasy, GURPS Traveller, and a few others. Plus, I found a ton of cool fan supplements online like GURPS Star Wars. Unfortunately, I never could find players with any interest in it. |

For me, it went something like this: [Fantasy] D&D, Palladium Fantasy, & Talislanta (for post-apocalyptic fantasy really). [Supers] Villainst & Vigilantes, FASERIP Marvel from TSR, and a game designed by a friend & myself. [Post-Apocalyptic] Gamma World & RIFTS. I think V&V is an underappreciated classic of the supers genre. I still have my old battered copy of the 2nd edition rulebook. I'm VERY tempted to order a print copy of all three editions of the rulebooks now that they are available. |

V&V was published by Fantsy Games unlimited(FGU commonly) they also pubkished Bushido
I p\plyed one of the very first games of second edition V&V where it came out at a con.
The Bushido Guys knew me from a game from earlier in the con. I was invited to a private V&V game ran by Jeff Dee, aparantly there was not very much play testing so I bet I was at least # 25 or so to learn and play second ed. The bushido guys they were so impresed the way i ran my samuri, they tried to get me to write moduals for the game. Unfortunatly the only other player was Paul Hume(the # 2 guy on Bushido.
It was not as great as it sounds, it was earliy morning on Sunday con and nobody has any str left.
Dees copy of the game had red ink all over it from mistakes and typos of the first printinng

#3 The Game show.(Trask)
I had seen the newer b called Doomed, it was a sci fi game show/zombie flick, I adapted it to gaming and it had its mao spin to it
The game show was set on an island near an Indian decended country. The game Show grabbed participants from all over the Spinward Marches. It was buuilt by the super High Tech(tech20,Traveller)Engai(from GURPS . The egai were hidding from life in an ocean near by w a sea "ranch" for endaged sea creaturs of the galaxy.
the island was semi tropical pines . And filled w Zombies, what kind of zombies did you say-Nazi of course, some of them of them armed.The party had a huge variety of chars from all over the Spinward(I play traveller early canon).The ones I remember
Most Notable was the renagade Preditor(I had told them they could be anything sci fi ish and one guy had allways) He had no equipment of any kind. and did not speak galactic. They wee a tech 16 race that was adapted to wanted to play one.

A dramady about UFOs on TBS ran for only two seasons,The adventuring party would consist of 3 or 4 aliens from dif species
If you are up on UFO lore it would be a gray , a nordic and a lizard man. 4th was dead and I don't remember his spcieces.The game would be about conquering Earth. so cool serrise loved it.

I only read a few issues of the series but it was pretty awesome
Our JLA ends up in 10,000 BC Atlantis.
The JL from this time was pretty cool, that would be your party(lets see how much I remember(prob 10 ish years ago)

Raven somebrthing Native American Shaman very very powerful on Dr Stranges Level

These two end up going back to the furure w our League and became a regular part of JLA LORE.
They are lead and organized by an Atlantian Wizard, master of Atlantin Black Magic(the worst and most powerful form of magic.He is evil and his legue is full ofupstanding supers, he is the one who tricks them into beating up on our league That includes Plastic Man , Aquaman Wonder Woman and Superman and Batman. Our League is totally out classed and get beaten up several times they hae absolutly no chance.. This is were Batman and Wonder Woman share a passionat kiss, leading them to be extremly attracted to each othe. I belong to A Face book group called Batman and Wonder Woman are ment to be toget her
The books I had read were the middle this series was very pivotal

When I was a young child, I always loved comic books. I had books from many companies. Charlton liscenced the Phantom and made books, I might still ave a couple. The Artist Jim Aparo did them, He was better known for his DC work W Batman. He prob was just getting started. He is so underrated.
This lead to a life time love of the purple guy

New Years day was always a big day for us. We got together every Jan first for mega game.The last one I ran fits this nicely. The players were char in the Dying Earth one of the players ws one of the settings super mages, Threst were fantasy heroos from all over, Therb was a kind of Sinbad awash buckleron a flying carpet who juggled 3 or 4 swords to fiht. An ogre sized Cho arim. the afor mentioned mage a paladin on a pegasis(he belonged to my best friend kieth who had an increably cool take on a paladin., the paladin is prob my all time fav char.One of the other long time players usedd to say what a crappy job kiethbdid w the paladin. lol
