I'm not sure I have this in the right place (folder); but, I can't quite figure out where else it could go. That said, I've been fixated on Judges Guild recently, and got to thinking: did anyone ever do supplemental expansions of it? For their own world building, of course. So, I kind of whipped this up and thought, well this is interesting. Suppose that there was a part of the world that had been long abandoned (as migrations are known to do), causing the western lands to be explored and populated, while the homeland became a barren, forgotten place. But, not totally. For one of the original tribes of Man remained behind, content with its surroundings, and not at all curious to explore as the other tribes. And what if this tribe had fractured and separated into the various clans wanting their own territory? What if each clan had domesticated the prehistoric animals of their preference, and with these alliances, dominated their chosen regions? The Sky clan residing in the high mountains, riding Pteradactyl as mounts, and living above the 8000 foot elevations. The Plains clan, roaming the vast flatlands riding Woolly mammoths. The Desert clan, riding Velociraptors or even T-rexes. The Sea clan, domesticating and riding prehistoric whales. A primitive and brutal part of the world that not even the Emperor or Overlord is interested in; or perhaps are even aware of. The lowest technology known and used, yet the land rich in resources untapped by the barbarian clans. Could a viable setting arise from this, minimal, concept? It's a tempting idea. So I came up with the following:

Totally rad and absolutely the "correct" folder to start the thread!
Thanks!

Did you intend to re-use map numbers 17 and 18?
I would also look for a couple other inspiring names to avoid xxx 1 and xxx 2 names. The original maps only have two maps that share a proper name (Ghinor and Ghinor Highlands) and three maps with Isles in the name.
I want to find out more about Coast of the Crone.

I'd play, sounds like a great premise.

Frank I've been so busy with 10 irons in 1 fire, I haven't gotten back to this. At your suggestion I will look over the map names again and see what can be done. Coast of the Crone....yes. The mere sound of it beckons, does it not? (I'll try to work on that, too.) Great. Now, if we can find a Game Judge to run it!
