So, as I promised in this thread, I finally got around to scanning the character sheet I found at my parents house recently.
It got me thinking that I would love to see some of your old character sheets too. So if you have access to some of the sheets (or other material) that you made while learning the game for the first time, please post them!
My own earliest character sheet is not dated, but I found it among some drawings from when I was 8-10 years old. I think I got the inspiration for the character sheet from my cousin who told me about role playing games, though I am certain I never played it at that age. I think I was inspired by some sort of stone age video game, though some things seem very related to D&D like the alignment "Good/x evil/x" part. I have translated the text on it in red, since it is in Danish

This is so cool! I love seeing crap like this!(at 9 you drew better than I ever did.) I lost my OD&D char sheets long ago. I did have my first 2nd level char that had been translated to 1e .(Eachan Khan, fighter actually made 3rd.<love the name>). I remember I had been playing him and had my first argument w a DM, he knocked over my figure when I still had a couple of HP, I picked it up and said,"AS far as I know we are playing a game that gagged damage by HP and I still have 3" He didn't put up much of a fight.

Would love to have seen the sheet of Eechan Khan. For some reason, game related stuff seems to disappear more than drawings etc. from children. I guess parents fail to see the significance. (though I don't know if I would have guessed that I would have been looking for thta kind of thing now more than 20 years later.
I think it would be fun to revive some of those characters for new games, considering how much we are actually able to remember.
Some of those memories are just so vivid. I also specifically remember moments from that time of me making other character sheets. How I would love if those suddenly turned up!

Actually my main 2 problems I have w holding on to the oldest char sheets is one, I never was very interested in D&D for like the first 2 years, it was just something I did, I remember rolling a char in front of my dm w 4 17s and crumpling up the sheet immediately after(I tend to rolll fantastic for chars). He was horrified. And two, my record keeping skills are crap, It's the main reason so little of Mysantia survives

This is completely awesome, thanks for sharing and have an Exalt.
I may have an old sheet somewhere, I would be embarrassed to share it but I will if I ever find it.
Do you remember at all what your focus was in the game at this time, what did you find most engaging? What held your attention?
