The First Fantasy Campaign was written by Dave Arneson and published by Judges Guild in 1977. As nearly as I can determine Judges Guild Co-Founder Bill Owen was the actual editor of this publication. Bill Owen and Bob Bledsaw founded the Judges Guild in 1976. Among other things it contains a section with the title "Richard Snider's Additions"which consists of his rules for "The Dragons". First Fantasy Campaign provides information on the actual Blackmoor campaign setting. It includes baronies, citadels, the history of leaders and many details on the Blackmoor dungeon. There are also additional rules for creating lairs, character interests and vocations. This book contains material produced at various times during the early Blackmoor campaign.

This should make an interesting addition to the boards. The First Fantasy Campaign is a product I'm missing from my collection and would definitely like to obtain.

JG and TSR are/were definitely two different vehicles bitd. How much of JG setting did DA use in presenting Blackmoor as part of that world? Or, was there so little of each that the schematics didn't amount to all that much?

My understanding is that Dave's FFC was very similar to his home game (as compared to the World of Greyhawk Folio which apparently was only vaguely similar to Gary's home game) and that Judges Guild took their existing Wilderlands world and fit the FFC setting into it so that Wilderlands players could adventure into the realm of Blackmoor.
I've never seen any indication that Dave ran anything in the Wilderlands setting, so it doesn't work the other way.

Yeah, the FFC was presented as a sort of sticker you could add on to a corner of your JG map, but otherwise there's really no connection between what's in the FFC and Wilderlands.
