Zenobia at Zozer GamesI printed out these rules/campaign sourcebooks a few years ago, but have yet to really sink my teeth into it ... It seems like it could be fun and the rules read really light, if you know what I mean.

Just because ... a review of Zenobia. I know it's not exactly a simulacrum game, but it kinda falls under the emulation category ... EDIT: I even went as far as to make a fancy-type character sheet available HERE.

I've never heard about it before, but I had a brief look at it and I thought it looked pretty good. It's certainly a cool kind of setting!

I've had the files for ages, but I've only really used his (excellent) Traveller stuff in action.

Mercator looks pretty good, but perhaps that might go hand in hand with the [Adventurer] thread ... or maybe not, if historical accuracy is your thing.

I actually have Zenobia downloaded and I've given I a good once over but that was probably a year or so in the past. It looks interesting...

I am downloading it now, I am not sure if I'd run it as is (since I am not into Historical Fantasy) but I might use bits of it to help flavor any Sword & Sorcery based games I might end up running in the future. I'll give it a once over at least, thanks for post & links JMiskimen.

I had someone run it at the local FLGS. The combat system is amazingly fun. The game is very simple but it works very well. It's got a Conan, historical vibe.
