I wish Howard had written more of Red Sonya and Von Kalmbach.

I wish Howard had written more of Red Sonya and Von Kalmbach. Don't we all! Suicide is always tragic, but in this case it extinguished at least 80% or more of what could have been Howard's body of work. No one since has written with the energy and power of REH. These days he would have to self-publish, because he would not even be given a hearing.

Shame this drawing only partly matches the description in the OP. Take note that Howard is not the one that put Red Sonya in a skimpy outfit.

The description is actually sexier than the way she is drawn. I agree with that, the thing about this drawings is that no one of the era would have dressed like that, where the description is possible for the period of time. The image has more of a Spaghetti Western vibe.
