My vote is for Solomon Kane. I like the whole vengeance track down evil and kill it motif.

I love Conan, tough and pragmatic, but deep down is a solid good guy when push comes to shove.

I like Breckinridge Elkins, kind of a cross between Conan and Li'l Abner.

Bêlit is my favorite, hot fierce women are my weakness.

Love me some Kull, although it was the comic that attracted me.

Love me some Kull, although it was the comic that attracted me. Yeah, I expect that most people found REH through the comics.

Bêlit is my favorite, hot fierce women are my weakness. I have to agree with you there, hot, fierce, exotic women are almost any man's weakness.

Solomon Kane is the guy I like the most, he would pursue the bad guy to the ends of the earth.

I love Dark Agnes, now that is a liberated woman. REH was NOT a misogynist.

Conan, as he is the one REH character that I've red the most of.

I voted Valeria because I dig her in the Arnold movie, where she was played by Sandahl Bergman.

I'm prepared to face the board's scorn. I prefer the comics of these characters. I acquired a collect edition of Solomon Kane, and I read a couple of stories. Of all of the comic versions, I have enjoyed the Solomon Kane stories (by Marvel in the 1980's) the best. On the Big screen Conan the Barbarian (with Schwarzenegger) was favorite.

I read the books before the comics were around, but I am fond of the art in the comics.

Due to enthusiasm I see for REH, I used a book credit to get a KULL collection. Kull and King Conan (I don't know if there were actual REH written works) were my second favorite REH characters. Solomon Kane was always my favorite though (I have been surprised at how closely the comic followed the stories).

Thank you The Perilous Dreamer! This looks very cool, I will have to temper my enthusiasm with readings from actual REH works now (collected Kull, and then Solomon K.).

Thank you for the Exalt. I have perused the REH proboard and requested a membership.

Well, the little reading of my Kull collection and my Solomon Kane collection has revealed that I prefer the Kull stories. So, Kull!

I actually read another story recently, The Mirrors of Tuzan Thune. I hope your Thanksgiving was good! I'm all out of virtual cookies but have a piece of virtual pumpkin pie! In fact, have enough to keep a Throon happy!
