I finally read this and I find it to be a fine and original take on a well-worn notion (Elves). Not different or wild for the sake of difference, but meaningfully different while still familiar enough to allow immediate understanding. There are a hundred campaign hooks, myth hooks, even potential mechanical hooks in this short but sweet writeup. This is practically ideal to my way of thinking -- spare writing that suggests plenty of ideas and roads to go down. I am struck by how much I want to read more about Fey and True Elves even though they are not the focus of this article. Hexenritter Verlag do you welcome riffs, questions, thoughts about this, either here or on your blog?

Hexenritter Verlag I really like the use of fey-touched humans as what most people think are elves. I like everyone else want to know more.

I might do something related to this for the project The Perilous Dreamer has cooked up. Still thinking about it.

You covered "Low Elves" pretty thoroughly in your blog post, but you only touched on the True Elves and the Fey. Would love to see you expand on this. It is interesting to notice what links are missing in your blog roll. No love for The Ruins?
